Devin Foster

Devin O’Neal Foster is a dedicated educator, innovator, and advocate deeply committed to creating equitable opportunities through technology. Growing up in St. Louis, Devin credits his parents for instilling in him "a lifelong love of learning" and a deep curiosity that shaped every stage of his journey. Even as a child, Devin recognized the profound impact of knowledge and the importance of asking deeper questions—qualities that continue to define his approach today.

His first significant experience with STEM came in high school at North Technical High School’s CISCO Networking Academy. With determination and guidance from supportive educators, Devin graduated as valedictorian and earned a CCENT certification. Reflecting on this experience, Devin shares, "It revealed to me the incredible power tech education has in changing a young person’s trajectory."

Driven by a desire to understand human behavior and societal systems, Devin pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. He began his professional career as an AmeriCorps VISTA member with The Covering House, developing curricula and supporting youth survivors of trafficking. His passion for equity and education later brought him to Tulsa through Teach For America, teaching physical science at Nathan Hale School. Devin emphasizes, "Education is about reaching students in ways that empower them to shape their own futures."

Today, as part of the Urban Coders Guild team, Devin combines his love for learning, expertise in anthropology, and passion for emerging technologies like blockchain and cryptocurrency, into creating transformative experiences for young people. He firmly believes, "When young people are equipped with tools, access, and belief in their potential, they don’t just consume technology—they transform it." Devin is dedicated to building opportunities for the next generation of coders, builders, and changemakers.
